My take: No-brainer on Quinton Johnson becoming Co-Chair of the Joint Finance Committee.  Let’s hope he has more moral ethics than his predecessor!  With Trey Paradee heading to the Senate, Q. Johnson becomes Chair of that committee.  Interesting choice.  Rep. Melissa Minor-Brown becomes Chair of the Corrections Committee right out of the gate!  Glad to see Sean Lynn as Chair of Judiciary Committee!  The Education Committee looks relatively the same except for the addition of some of the new kids with Reps. Minor-Brown, Nnamdi Chukwuocha, Kendra Johnson, and Bryan Shupe joining the game.  Still got Earl Jaques leading the show (ugh) and Kim Williams as Vice Chair (she should be Chair).  I was kind of surprised not to see Bill Bush on there since has been a long-time board member of Caesar Rodney.  But he is the Chair of the Economic Development, Banking, Insurance and Commerce Committee (which I can only call EDBIC).  I’m all for Veterans but do they really need 27 out of 42 Reps on that committee?

I liked that the Senate limited committee members to five.  It allowed Senate members to not miss their own committees due to overlapping schedules.  The House is a hot mess and you are lucky if a committee meeting has all their members present.
