Three days ago, I posted polls for the biggest tickets in the Delaware Primary. I ran them for Delaware Attorney General (Democrat), Delaware State Auditor (Democrat), U.S. Senator (Democrat), U.S. Senator (Republican), and U.S. Representative (Republican).
To get the widest sampling available, I put links to the polls in various Facebook groups on both sides of the aisle. Each poll received hundreds of votes with some having more than others, especially the Rob Arlett-Gene Truono poll. I blocked cookies and IP addresses to prevent folks from being able to vote more than once.
Here are the results:
Delaware Attorney General
Chris Johnson: 47.18%
Kathy Jennings: 29.58%
LaKresha Roberts: 18.31%
Tim Mullaney: 4.93%
Delaware State Auditor
Kathleen Davies: 64.96%
Kathy McGuiness: 27.01%
Dennis Williams: 8.03%
U.S. Senator (Democrat)
Kerri Harris: 60.78%
Tom Carper: 39.22%
U.S. Senator (Republican)
Rob Artlett: 70%
Gene Truono: 30%
U.S. Representative (Republican)
Lee Murphy: 66.67%
Scott Walker: 33.33%
While these polls in no way are indicative of the final outcomes of the upcoming Primary on Thursday, September 6th, they do show a slight indication of what we could be looking at with a margin of error within 10 points or so. We will see if I am right after results come out that night! Best of luck to all the candidates!
