Governor Jack Markell’s Audition For U.S. Secretary of Education Sent To Hillary Clinton

Exceptional Delaware got the scoop of the year!  Delaware Governor Jack Markell sent an audition tape to presidential nominee Hillary Clinton today.  He highlighted what he has done for education and what Delaware is doing to further students into his corporatist agendas.  There is a lot of talk about investment, technology, and support for students.  I was able to obtain a copy of this video.

There are actually a lot of cameos of people I’ve talked about on this blog.  As a weekly contest, whoever correctly guesses all those people will get a first look at the next FOIA I get.  There is no money involved in this contest, and the odds are in your favor if you actually read this blog.  Good luck!

And don’t spoil the surprise on social media!

I am a proud parent of a son with Tourette's Syndrome and several other co-morbidities. I write on this blog to educate other parents so they know a bit more about not only special education, but all the really bad things that are happening with public schools in Delaware and the USA. We are all in this together, and if our children aren't able to advocate for themselves it's up to us parents! We need to stop letting companies run our schools, and demand our children get a proper education. Our Departments of Education in our states have become weak with fear from the bullying US DOE, and we need to take back our schools!

  1. that is the biggest joke in the universe. technology? I couldn’t show a 6 minute PBS video because it was buffering about every 20 seconds. I did my required child abuse training on a laptop with missing keys. It shut down twice in the midst of the “training”.
I can’t do my RtI class during testing weeks- not enough computers.
It’s no different than ten years ago. and what support for students could he possibly be referring to? all the support the state provided for Priority Schools in Wilmington?

If the joke wasn’t on the children of Delaware, it might actually be funny.
